Fresh Organic Flaxseed Oil. Pressed to Order in British Columbia.

Our Organic Cold-Pressed Flaxseed Oil is made from BC-grown organic flaxseed and pressed in small batches in Vernon, British Columbia.

Because flaxseed oil is naturally delicate, we don't keep large quantities sitting on shelves. Instead, we press it to order whenever possible so every bottle arrives as fresh as possible.

Every batch is cold-pressed below 40°C using active cooling to help preserve the oil's naturally occurring omega-3 fatty acids.

• BC-grown organic flaxseed

• Cold-pressed below 40°C

• No fillers, solvents, or additives

• Pressed to order for maximum freshness

• Naturally rich in Omega-3

Whether it's added to smoothies, yogurt, oatmeal, salad dressings, or taken by the spoonful, this is flaxseed oil produced the way it should be: fresh, pure, and minimally processed.

Pressed to Order

Freshness is not a claim on our label.

It is the reason this oil is worth buying at all.

Flaxseed oil begins losing what makes it valuable the moment it is pressed. Heat, light, and time all work against it. Most flax oil on the market has already spent weeks, sometimes months, moving through warehouses and distribution before it reaches a shelf.

We press differently. Each bottle is cold-pressed in small batches here in Vernon, BC, close to when it is ordered. After pressing, we let it settle naturally for 24 hours before bottling, no shortcuts, just time and gravity doing the work of letting sediment fall out on its own.

  • Cold-pressed below 40°C using active cooling
  • Rests 24 hours to settle naturally before bottling
  • Nitrogen-flushed to reduce oxidation
  • Sealed in amber glass to block UV light

The result is an oil that still tastes like what it is when it arrives, rich, nutty, and unmistakably fresh, rather than the flat, muted flavor of an oil that has been sitting too long.

Why This Has to Come From Food

Your body can't make omega-3s on its own

Omega-3 fatty acids are what's called essential, which in nutrition just means your body has no way to produce them. Whatever you get has to come from what you eat.

Flaxseed oil is one of the richest plant sources of ALA, the plant-based omega-3. There's no synthesizing it internally, no substitute your body can manufacture if your diet is short on it. It's food-sourced or it's not there at all.

That's a big part of why we take freshness so seriously. An omega-3 fatty acid that has already broken down from heat or age isn't doing much for you anymore. The whole reason we press to order in small batches, and get the oil to you fast, is so what's in the bottle is still what your body actually needs when you use it.

Gentle Wellness Applications

Never for High Heat

  • Take 1-2 tablespoons daily as a nutritional supplement
  • Mix into smoothies for omega-3 boost
  • Drizzle over salads for nutty richness
  • Blend into yogurt or oatmeal
  • Add to cold soups for nutritional benefits

Storage: Keep refrigerated, tightly sealed, and away from light. Use within 8-12 weeks of opening for maximum freshness.

Never Cook With It: Heat destroys the beneficial omega-3s and oxidizes the oil. This is a finishing oil, not a cooking oil.

Exceptional Nutritional Value

What's Actually in the Bottle

We sent a sample out for independent lab testing. Here's what came back:

  • ALA Omega-3: about 60% of the total fatty acid profile
  • Acid value: 1.90 mgKOH/g. Lower means less breakdown.
  • Peroxide value: 0.20 meqO2/kg, basically a freshness score. The lower it is, the less oxidation has happened.
  • No detectable arsenic, cadmium, lead, or mercury
  • Moisture under 0.1%

We're not running this test on every batch yet, that's still a goal, not a routine. But this is real data from real oil we sold, not a stock nutrition fact copied off a label somewhere.

Frequently asked questions

How should I store flaxseed oil?

Keep refrigerated, tightly sealed, and away from light. Use within 6-8 weeks of opening for maximum omega-3 potency.

Can I cook with flaxseed oil?

No, never cook with flaxseed oil. Heat destroys the beneficial omega-3s. Use it as a finishing oil or nutritional supplement only.

How much should I take daily?

1-2 tablespoons daily provides an excellent source of omega-3s. Start with smaller amounts if you're new to flaxseed oil.
